s 32 Duration of registration
(1) The registration of a trade mark shall be for a period of ten years but may be renewed from time to time in accordance with this Act.
(2) Where a trade mark is registered under the repealed Ordinances and is incorporated into and forms part of the Register under this Act the registration of such trade mark unless renewed under this Act shall be for a period equal to the unexpired portion of the period for which the trade mark was registered or renewed under the repealed Ordinances.
(3) The registration of a trade mark may be renewed from time to time in accordance with Part VII.

Tempoh pendaftaran
(1) Pendaftaran sesuatu cap dagangan ialah selama tempoh sepuluh tahun tetapi boleh dibaharui dari semasa ke semasa mengikut Akta ini.
(2) Jika sesuatu cap dagangan didaftarkan di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan dan cap dagangan itu dimasukkan dalam dan menjadi sebahagian dari Daftar di bawah Akta ini maka pendaftaran cap dagangan itu, melainkan jika dibaharui di bawah Akta ini, ialah selama baki tempoh cap dagangan itu telah didaftarkan atau dibaharui di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan.
(3) Pendaftaran sesuatu cap dagangan boleh dibaharui dari semasa ke semasa mengikut Bahagian VII.
