s 49 Powers to vary, extend or cancel registration of a registered user
(1) Without prejudice to section 45, the registration of a person as a registered user—
(a) may be varied by the Registrar on the written application in the prescribed manner of the registered proprietor with respect to the goods or services for which or with respect to any conditions or restrictions subject to which the registration has effect;
(b) may be extended by the Registrar on the application in writing of the registered proprietor for such period as the Registrar thinks fit;
(c) may be cancelled by the Registrar on the application of the registered proprietor.
(d) (Deleted by Act A881).
(2) The Registrar may at any time cancel the registration of a person as a registered user of a trade mark for any goods or services in respect of which the trade mark is no longer registered.
(3) Any decision of the Registrar under subsection (1) or (2) is subject to appeal to the Court.

Kuasa untuk mengubah, melanjutkan atau membatalkan pendaftaran seseorang pengguna berdaftar
(1) Tanpa menyentuh seksyen 45, pendaftaran seseorang sebagai seorang pengguna berdaftar—
(a) boleh diubah oleh Pendaftar atas permohonan bertulis dengan cara yang ditetapkan dari tuan punya berdaftar mengenai barang-barang atau perkhidmatan yang baginya pendaftaran itu berkuat kuasa atau mengenai apa-apa syarat atau sekatan yang tertakluk kepadanya pendaftaran itu berkuat kuasa;
(b) boleh dilanjutkan oleh Pendaftar atas permohonan bertulis tuan punya berdaftar selama tempoh yang difikirkan patut oleh Pendaftar;
(c) boleh dibatalkan oleh Pendaftar atas permohonan tuan punya berdaftar.
(d) (Dipotong oleh Akta A881).
(2) Pendaftar boleh pada bila-bila masa membatalkan pendaftaran seseorang sebagai seorang pengguna berdaftar sesuatu cap dagangan bagi apa-apa barang atau perkhidmatan yang mengenainya cap dagangan itu tidak lagi didaftarkan.
(3) Apa-apa keputusan Pendaftar di bawah subseksyen (1) atau
(2) adalah tertakluk kepada rayuan kepada Mahkamah.
