s 77 Extension of time
(1) Where by this Act or any regulations made thereunder, a time is specified within which an act or thing is to be done, the Registrar may, unless otherwise expressly provided or directed by the Court, upon application in the prescribed manner, extend the time either before or after its expiration upon payment of the prescribed fee.
(2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to section 29, subsection 31(3), section 70 and section 70 A except where the circumstances mentioned in section 78 apply.

Perlanjutan masa
(1) Jika masa ditentukan oleh Akta ini atau mana-mana peraturan yang dibuat di bawahnya yang dalamnya sesuatu perbuatan atau perkara hendaklah dilakukan, Pendaftar boleh, melainkan jika selainnya diperuntukkan dengan nyata atau diarahkan oleh Mahkamah, atas permohonan mengikut cara yang ditetapkan, melanjutkan masa itu sama ada sebelum atau selepas tamat masa itu apabila dibayar fi yang ditetapkan.
(2) Subseksyen (1) tidaklah terpakai bagi seksyen 29, subseksyen 31(3), seksyen 70 dan seksyen 70 A kecuali jika hal keadaan yang disebutkan dalam seksyen 78 terpakai.
