s 22
(1) A prosecution under this Act shall not be instituted Consent öf except by or with the consent of the Püblic Prosecutor.
(2) Notwithstanding that the consent of the Public to prose.!: Prosecutor has not been obtained, a person charged with such offence may be arrested or a warrant for his arrest may be issued and executed. Such person may.be remanded in custody or released on bail, but the case shall not be further prosecuted until the consent has been obtained.
(3) Where a person is brought before a court before the Public-Prosecutor has consented to the prosecution, the charge shall be explained to him but he shall not be called upon to plead, and the law-for the time being in force -relating to criminal procedure shall be modified accordingly

(1) Sesuatu pendakwaan di bawah Akta ini tidak boleh Izin dibawa kecuali öleh atau dengan izin Pendakwa Raya. pontl toman.

(2) Walaupun izin Pendakwa Raya itu telah tidak diperolehi, seseorang yang dipertuduhkan atas kesalahan itu boleh ditangkap atau suatu waran untuk menangkapnya boleh dikeluar dan dilaksanakan. Orang itu boleh ditahan dalam jagaan atau dilepaskan dengan jaminan, tetapi kes itu tidak boleh didakwa selanjutnya sehingga izin itu telah diperolehi.
(3) Jika seseorang di bawa ke hadapan suatu mahkamah sebelum Pendakwa Raya telah mengizinkan pendakwaan itu, pertuduhan itu hendaklah dihuraikan kepadanya tetapi ia tidak boleh diminta memberi jawapan, dan undangundang yang pada masa itu berkuatkuasa berhubung dengan acara jenayah hendaklah diubahsuai dengan sewajarnya.
