Highway Authority Malaysia (Incorporation) Act 1980 s 18
s 18 Financial year and annual estimate
(1) The financial year of the Authority shall commence on 1st January and end on 31st December of each year.
(2) The Chairman shall, not later than one month before the commencement of each financial year, lay before the Authority an estimate of the revenue and expenditure, including capital expenditure, of the Authority for the ensuing financial year in such detail and form as the Authority may determine.
(3) The Chairman shall cause to be sent to every member of the Authority a copy of the estimate not later than fourteen days prior to the date of the meeting at which the estimate is to be laid.

Tahun kewangan dan anggaran tahunan
(1) Tahun kewangan bagi Lembaga hendaklah bermula pada 1 Januari dan berakhir pada 31 Disember setiap tahun.
(2) Pengerusi hendaklah, tidak lewat daripada satu bulan sebelum setiap tahun kewangan, membentangkan di hadapan Lembaga suatu anggaran hasil dan perbelanjaan, termasuklah perbelanjaan modal, Lembaga bagi tahun kewangan yang berikutannya mengandungi apa-apa butir dan dalam apa-apa bentuk sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Lembaga.
(3) Pengerusi hendaklah menyebabkan supaya satu salinan anggaran itu dihantar kepada tiap-tiap anggota Lembaga tidak lewat daripada empat belas hari sebelum tarikh mesyuarat di mana anggaran itu akan dibentangkan.
