s 70 Protection of Government from liability

The Government shall not be liable to make good any loss sustained in respect of any goods by fire, theft, damage or other cause while such goods are in any customs warehouse or in the lawful custody or control of any officer of customs, unless such loss is caused by the wilful neglect, or default of an officer of customs or of a person employed by the Government in connection with the customs.

Kerajaan adalah tidak bertanggungan untuk Perlindungan membayar apa-apa kerugian yang dialami berkenaan keatas dengain a Perosa barangu sebab ain semasa baaran, tisit. kecurian, barang itu berada di mana-mana gudang kastam atau [Bah. VIIl, S. 70-73] dalam jagaan atau kawalan yang sah di sisi undangndang mana-mana pegawai kastam, melainkan jik erugian itu disebabkan oleh pengabaian sengaja ata keingkaran seorang pegawai kastam atau orang yang diambil bekerja oleh Kerajaan berhubungan dengan kastam.
