s 71 Protection of officers of customs from liability
No officer of customs or other person employed by the Government in connection with the customs shall be liable to make good any loss sustained in respect of any goods by fire, theft, damage or other cause while such goods are in any customs warehouse or in the lawful custody or control of such officer or any other officer of customs or person employed in connection with customs unless such loss is caused by his wilful neglect, or default.

Tiada seorang pun pegawai kastam atau orang lain orangyang diambil bekerja berhubungan dengan kastam melainkan jika kerugian itu disebabkan oleh pengabaiar sengaja, atau keingkarannya. guaing. seva 72. Pemunya atau ejennya hendaklah membayar Barangmerbahaya. gudang yang diluluskan oleh Ketua Pengarah. Sewa itı lendaklah dibayar pada akhir tiap-tiap bulan sama ad suatu tuntutan berkenaan dengannya dibuat atau tidal dan iika tidak dibavar sedemikian boleh didapatkaı uan ika tidak kepada Kerajaan.
