s 12 Power of entry to and search of premises suspected of being used by unlicensed private agencies

(1) If the Minister has reason to believe that business of an unlicensed private agency is carried on or that any books, accounts or other documents of such unlicensed private agency are kept or deposited in any premises or place, he may authorize in writing a police officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent to enter into such premises or place. (2) Any officer authorized to exercise the powers of entry under this section may without warrant and with or without assistance and using force for that purpose if necessary, enter such place and may search such place and any person found therein or escaping therefrom: Provided no woman shall be searched under this subsection except by a woman. (3) Any officer authorized to exercise the powers of entry under this section may seize any books, accounts or other documents which he reasonably believes to be or to contain evidence relating to the business of an unlicensed private agency. (4) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to affect the powers of a police officer under the Criminal Procedure Code or any other written law.

(1) Jika Menteri ada sebab bagi memperchayaï bahawa berlesen. Kenyataan palsu. premis atau tempat itu. (2) Sa-saorang pegawai yang di-berikuasa menjalankar kuasa2 masok di-bawah sekshen ini boleh, tanpa waran dan dengan bantuan atau dengan tiada bantuan dan dengan menggunakan kekerasan bagi maksud itu jika perlu, masok ka-dalam tempat itu dan boleh menggeledah tempat itu dan merangai sa-siapa jua yang di-jumpai di-dalam-nya atau yang lari dari tempat itu: Dengan sharat bahawa tiada sa-saorang perempuan boleh di-rangai di-bawah sekshen-kechil ini kechuali oleh sa-orang perempuan. (3) Sa-saorang pegawai yang di-berikuasa menjalankan kuasa- masok di-bawah sekshen ini boleh mengambil apabuku, akaun atau laın‹ suratan yang di-perchayaï-nya dengan menasabah sa-bagai menjadi atau sa-bagai mengandongı keterangan berhubong dengan urusan sa-suatu ejensi (4) Tiada apa2 jua dalam sekshen ini boleh di-sifatkan ba-bagai menyentoh kuasa sa-saara le pegawai polis di awah peruntokan- Kanun undang? bertulis yang lain.
