s 9 Employees of a licensed private agency

(1) No person shall be employed in any capacity whatsoever by a licensed private agency unless there has been issued in respect of such person a letter of approval by the Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer. (2) A licensed private agency who desires to employ a person shall apply for a letter of approval to the Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer of the State in which that person ordinarily resides or, if he is ordinarily resident outside Malaysia, to the Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer of the State in which the licensed private agency has its registered office, and the application shall be in such form and shall contain such particulars as may be prescribed by the Minister. (3) Upon receipt of an application for a letter of approval, the Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer may, after making such enquiries as he may deem appropriate, issue a letter of approval. (4) For the purpose of making inquiries under subsection (3), the Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer may require the person to be employed to submit to all such steps as may be reasonably necessary for the taking and recording of his fingerprints. (5) The Commissioner of Police or the Chief Police Officer may refuse to issue a letter of approval. (6) Any person whose application for a letter of approval is refused may within 14 days from the date of such refusal appeal to the Minister who may confirm the decision or direct the issue of a letter of approval. (7) The decision of the Minister on an appeal under subsection (6) shall be final.

(1) Tiada sa-saorang boleh di-ambıl bekerja dalam apaejensı persendirian jua Jawatan oleh sa-suatu ejensi persendirian berlesen berlesen. melainkan suatu surat kelulusan telah • di-keluarkan mengenaï orang itu oleh Pesurohjaya Polis atau Ketua Pegawai Polis. (2) Sa-suatu ejensi persendirian berlesen yang hendak mengambil bekerja sa-saorang hendak-lah memohon suatu Pegawaı Polls bagı Negeri d1-mana orang itu blasa-ny inggal atau, jika ia biasa-nya tinggal di-luar Malaysia Vegerı di-mana ejensı persendırıan berlesen tu mempunya pejabat berdaftai-nya, dan permohonan itu hendak-lal (3) Apabila sa-suatu permohonan untok surat kelulusan di-terima, Pesurohjaya Poliș atau Ketua Pegawai Polis • ertoaa boleh, sa-lepas menjalankan siasatan2 sa-bagaimana yang diikirkan-nya sesuai, mengeluarkan suatu surat kelulusan. (4) Bagı maksud menjalankan siasatan2 di-bawah jari-nya. (5) Pesurohjaya Polis atau Ketua Pegawai Polis boleh enggan mengeluarkan sa-suatu surat kelulusan. [S. 9-11] BJBNSI PERSBNDIRIAN (6) Sa-saorang yang permohonan-nya untok suraț kelulusan telah di-tolak boleh merayu kapada Menteri dalam masa 14 hari sa-lepas tarikh penolakan itu dar Menteri boleh mengesahkan keputusan itu atau mengarahkan supaya surat kelulusan di-keluarkan. (7) Keputusan Menteri atas sa-suatu rayuan di-bawah sekshen-kechil (6) ada-lah muktamad. luluskan oleh Menteri.
