Kecuali dengan persetujuan secara bertulis Menteri, tiada sesuatu bank Islam boleh diberi lesen atas suatu nama yang termasuk mana-mana daripada perkataan "Kebangsaan", "Komanwel", "Malaysia", "Malaysia" sebagai kata sifat, "Negara", "Negeri", "Persekutuan" "Persekutuan" sebagai kata sifat atau "Rizab" sama ada dalam Bahasa Kebangsaan atau bahasa Inggeris atau dalam apa-apa bahasa lain.
