s 9
(1) If the office of a member, other than the General Casual Manager, becomes vacant, the Minister may appoint another suitably qualified person to fill such vacancy temporar for so long only as the member in whose place he is appointed would have held office.
(2) Where any member, other than the General Manager, is prevented by illness, absence from the State or other like cause from performing his duties as a member the Minister may appoint any suitably qualified person to act as deputy for such member during such period as he is so prevented from performing his duties. I0. There shall be paid to the members, or to such of Remunerathem as the Minister may determine, such salaries, tees and allowances out of the funds of the Board as the of Board. Minister may from time to time approve.

(1) Jika jawatan seseorang anggota, selain dari luar jangka dan Pengurus Besar, menjadi kosong, Menteri boleh mekeanggotaan lantik seorang lain yang mempunyai kelayakan yang sementara, sesuai untuk mengisi kekosongan itu hanya selama tempoh yang anggota yang dia telah dilantik menggantikan itu sepatutnya memegang jawatan.
(2) Jika seseorang anggota, selain dari Pengurus Besar, tidak dapat melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya sebagai seorang anggota oleh sebab sakit, tidak ada dalam Negeri atau sebab-sebab lain yang seumpamanya, Menteri boleh melantık mana-mana orang yang mempunyai kelayakan yang sesuai untuk bertindak sebagai timbalan bagi anggota itu sepanjang tempoh yang dia tidak dapat melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya.
