Food Act 1983 s 16

s 16 False labelling, etc.

Any person who prepares, packages, labels or sells any food in a manner that is false, misleading or deceptive as regards its character, nature, value, substance, quality, composition, merit or safety, strength, purity, weight, origin, age or proportion or in contravention of any regulation made under this Act commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to fine or to both.

Pelabelan yang palsu, dsb.

Mana-mana orang yang menyedia, membungkus, melabel atau menjual apa-apa makanan dengan suatu cara yang palsu, mengelirukan atau memperdayakan berkenaan dengan sifat, jenis, nilai, bahan, kualiti, komposisi, merit atau keselamatan, kekuatan, ketulenan, berat, asal usul, lama atau bahagian kandungannya atau bersalahan dengan mana-mana peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun atau didenda atau kedua-duanya.
