s 50 Request for grant of compulsory licence
(1) In an application for a compulsory licence under section 49 or 49A, the applicant shall set forth the amount of adequate remuneration, the conditions of the exploitation of the patent and the restrictions of the rights of the licensor or the licensee, as the case may be, and a request for the said licence.
(1A) In addition to the requirements specified in subsection (1), an application for a compulsory licence under paragraph 49(1A)(b) shall comply with any other requirements as prescribed.
(2) Where an application for a compulsory licence is made pursuant to section 49 or a request for a compulsory licence is made pursuant to section 49A, the Registrar shall furnish a copy of the application or the request to the licensor or the licensee, as the case may be, for an opportunity to make observations on the application or request within the prescribed period.
(3) (Deleted by Act A1649).

Permintaan untuk pemberian lesen wajib
(1) Bagi suatu permohonan untuk mendapatkan satu lesen wajib di bawah seksyen 49 atau 49A, pemohon hendaklah mengemukakan amaun saraan yang memadai, syarat eksploitasi paten dan sekatan hak pemberi lesen atau pemegang lesen, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, dan satu permintaan bagi lesen tersebut.
(1A) Sebagai tambahan kepada kehendak yang dinyatakan dalam subseksyen (1), suatu permohonan untuk mendapatkan lesen wajib di bawah perenggan 49(1A)(b) hendaklah mematuhi apa-apa kehendak lain sebagaimana yang ditetapkan.
(2) Jika suatu permohonan untuk mendapatkan lesen wajib dibuat menurut seksyen 49 atau suatu permintaan untuk mendapatkan lesen wajib dibuat menurut seksyen 49A, Pendaftar hendaklah memberikan salinan permohonan atau permintaan itu kepada pemberi lesen atau pemegang lesen, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, bagi suatu peluang untuk membuat pemerhatian terhadap permohonan atau permintaan itu dalam tempoh yang ditetapkan.
