If any person contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or any order or direction made or given or requirement liable to imprisonment for a term of six months or to a fine of five hundred ringgit or to both. Enhanced penalty for certain offences committed in a proclaimed area
Penalti bagi kesalahan tertentu
Jika mana-mana orang melanggar atau gagal mematuhi mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini atau apa-apa perintah atau arahan yang dibuat atau diberi atau kehendak yang dikenakan di bawah seksyen 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 atau 13, atau menyubahati pelanggaran atau kegagalan itu, dia adalah melakukan suatu kesalahan terhadap Akta ini dan, tertakluk kepada mana-mana peruntukan khas yang terkandung dalam Akta ini, boleh dipenjarakan selama tempoh enam bulan atau didenda sebanyak lima ratus ringgit atau keduanya.
