s 8 Constitution of a University
(1) The Constitution of a University shall contain provisions for all the matters set out in the First Schedule to this Act.
(2) If at any time the Constitution does not contain provisions set out in the First Schedule to this Act, the Board shall take such steps as may be necessary for giving effect to the provisions aforesaid or for removing the inconsistent provisions in the Constitution.
(3) Without prejudice to subsection (2), the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, at any time, amend the Constitution so as to bring it into accord with the provisions of the First Schedule to this Act.
(4) The provisions of the Constitution shall take effect from such date as may be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and shall have the force of law within Malaysia.
(5) Anything done or appointment made for and on behalf of the University prior to the date of the coming into force of the Constitution shall, on and after that date, be deemed to be made for, by or on behalf of the University.

(I) Perlembagaan sa-suatu Universiti hendak-lah mengandongı peruntokan perlagi semua perkara yang di-nyatakan dalam Jaduakkapada Akta ini.
(2) Jika pada bila? masa Perlembagaan sa-suatu Universiti tidak mengandongi peruntokan yang di-nyatakan dalam Jaduale kapada Akta ini, Majlis hendak-lah mengambil langkahz yang perlu bagi mengadakan peruntokan tersebut atau membuang peruntokan yang berlawanan dalam Perlembagaan itui.
(3) Dengan tidak menyentoh sekshen-kechil (2), Yang di-Pertuan Agong boleh, pada bila2 masa, meminda Perlembagaan sa-suatu supaya sesuai dengan peruntokan dalam Jadual kapada Akta ini.
(4) Peruntokan Perlembagaan itu hendak-lah berkuatkuasa dari tarikh yang di-tetapkan oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong dan hendak-lah mempunyaï kuatkuasa undang? dalam Persekutuan.
(5) Apaż perkara yang di-lakukan atau apa2 perlantekan yang di-buat untok dan bagi pehak Universiti sa-belum tarikh Perlembagaan itu mula berkuatkuasa hendak-lah, pada dan sa-lepas tarikh itu, di-sifatkan sa-bagai telah di buat untok, oleh atau bagı pehak Unıversiti itu
