s 18 Offences relating to unauthorized pipeline works

Any person who acts in contravention of section 17 and any regulations made for the purpose of this Part or any authorization granted under section 16 or requirements for rectification under subsection 17(2), shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit and in the case of a continuing offence, he shall be liable to a further fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit for each day or part of a day on which the offence occurs or continues after the first day in respect of which the conviction is recorded. Part V not applicable to supply of gas by pipelines

Kesalahan berhubungan dengan kerja talian paip yang tidak dibenarkan

Mana-mana orang yang bertindak dengan melanggar seksyen 17 dan mana-mana peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat bagi maksud Bahagian ini atau apa-apa kebenaran yang diberi di bawah seksyen 16 atau kehendak-kehendak bagi pembetulan di bawah subseksyen 17(2), melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi dua puluh ribu ringgit dan mengenai kesalahan yang berterusan, dia boleh didenda tambahan tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari atau sebahagian daripada satu hari yang kesalahan itu berlaku atau berterusan selepas hari pertama yang berkenaan dengannya sabitan itu direkodkan.
