Petroleum (Safety Measures) Act 1984 s 32

s 32 Equipment, etc., in premises licensed under repealed laws

(1) Notwithstanding a declaration by the Minister under section 28, any existing equipment, gadgets, materials, plants, appliances, buildings, structures and installations or any part thereof in any licensed premises may with the approval of the Minister, continue to be used for such purposes provided that the Minister is satisfied that such continued use does not constitute a hazard to the safety of life or property. (2) Any application for an approval referred to under subsection (1) shall be made in writing to the Minister within ninety days from the date of publication in the Gazette of a declaration under section 28 in respect of that particular equipment, gadget, material, plant, appliance, building, structure or installation or any part thereof, as the case may be. (3) For the purpose of this section “licensed premises” means premises licensed to store petroleum under any of the laws referred to under section 48.

Kelengkapan, dsb., dalam premis yang dilesenkan di bawah undang-undang yang dimansuhkan

(1) Walau apa pun pengisytiharan oleh Menteri di bawah seksyen 28, apa-apa kelengkapan, alat, bahan, loji, perkakas, bangunan, struktur dan pepasangan yang sedia ada atau mana-mana bahagian daripadanya dalam mana-mana premis berlesen boleh dengan kelulusan Menteri terus digunakan bagi maksud itu dengan syarat bahawa Menteri berpuas hati penggunaan yang berterusan itu tidak mendatangkan bahaya kepada keselamatan nyawa atau harta. (2) Apa-apa permohonan bagi kelulusan yang disebut di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah dibuat secara bertulis kepada Menteri dalam masa sembilan puluh hari dari tarikh suatu perisytiharan di bawah seksyen 28 disiarkan dalam Warta berkenaan dengan kelengkapan, alat, bahan, loji, perkakas, bangunan, struktur atau pepasangan tertentu itu atau mana-mana bahagian daripadanya, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan. (3) Bagi maksud seksyen ini, “premis berlesen” ertinya premis berlesen bagi menstor petroleum di bawah mana-mana undang-undang yang disebut di bawah seksyen 48.
