s 35 General powers for rectification
Nothing in Part VII and Part VIII shall affect the power of the Minister to require rectification of any equipment, gadgets, materials, plants, appliances, buildings, structures and installations or any part thereof within such period as he may specify in any manner whatsoever if he is satisfied that the use of such equipment, gadgets, materials, plants, appliances, buildings, structures and installations or any part thereof is detrimental to the safety of life or property.

Kuasa am bagi pembetulan
Tiada apa-apa jua yang terkandung dalam Bahagian VII dan Bahagian VIII boleh menjejaskan kuasa Menteri untuk menghendaki pembetulan apa-apa kelengkapan, alat, bahan, loji, perkakas, bangunan, struktur dan pepasangan atau mana-mana bahagiannya dalam apa-apa tempoh sebagaimana dinyatakannya mengikut apa jua cara jika dia berpuas hati bahawa kegunaan kelengkapan, alat, bahan, loji, perkakas, bangunan, struktur dan pepasangan itu atau mana-mana bahagiannya membahayakan keselamatan nyawa atau harta.
