s 6 Permitted loading, unloading and discharging of petroleum
(1) No petroleum shall be loaded or unloaded or discharged except at a port, or at such other place as is appointed for that purpose by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.
(2) The Minister may, in respect of any place appointed by him under subsection (1), appoint such persons as he thinks fit to exercise the powers of, and to carry out the duties and functions of a port officer as set out under this Act or any regulations made thereunder.

Pemuatan, pemunggahan dan pelepasan petroleum yang dibenarkan
(1) Tiada apa-apa petroleum boleh dimuatkan atau dipunggah atau dilepaskan kecuali di suatu pelabuhan, atau di suatu tempat lain yang ditetapkan bagi maksud itu oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.
(2) Menteri boleh, berkenaan dengan mana-mana tempat yang ditetapkan olehnya di bawah subseksyen (1), melantik mana-mana orang sebagaimana yang difikirkannya patut untuk menjalankan kuasa dan menunaikan kewajipan dan fungsi pegawai pelabuhan sebagaimana yang dinyatakan di bawah Akta ini atau mana-mana peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawahnya.
