s 12 Powers of Minister

(1) If the Minister is satisfied that the requirements of Article 18 of the Tokyo Convention have been satisfied, which Article makes provision as to the country which is to be treated as the country of registration of certain aircraft operated by joint air transport organizations or international operating agencies established by two or more Convention countries, the Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, provide that, for the purposes of this Act, such aircraft as may be specified in the notification shall be treated as registered in such Convention country as may be so specified. (2) The Minister may make such regulations as appear to him to be necessary for carrying out or giving effect to the provisions of the Tokyo Convention.

Kuasa Menteri

(1) Jika Menteri berpuas hati bahawa kehendak Perkara 18 Konvensyen Tokyo telah dipatuhi, yang Perkara itu membuat peruntukan mengenai negara yang hendak dikira sebagai negara pendaftaran bagi pesawat udara tertentu yang dikendalikan oleh pertubuhan pengangkutan udara atau agensi kendalian antarabangsa secara bersama yang ditubuhkan oleh dua atau lebih negara Konvensyen, Menteri boleh, melalui pemberitahuan yang disiarkan dalam Warta, memperuntukkan bahawa, bagi maksud Akta ini, pesawat udara itu sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam pemberitahuan tersebut hendaklah dianggap sebagai didaftarkan di negara Konvensyen tersebut sebagaimana ditetapkan sedemikian. (2) Menteri boleh membuat apa-apa peraturan-peraturan yang didapatinya perlu bagi melaksanakan atau menguatkuasakan peruntukan Konvensyen Tokyo.
