(1) Where any child care centre is registered, the Director General shall upon payment of a prescribed fee issue a certificate of registration in the prescribed form in respect of such child care centre, and such certificate shall specify the address of the child care centre to which the registration relates and also any conditions imposed under the provisions of this Act.
(2) A certificate of registration shall be issued to, and in the name of the person who made the application therefor, and shall not be transferable to any other person.
(3) Every certificate of registration issued under the provision of this section shall be valid for sixty calendar months.

(4) Where any change occurs in any of the circumstances particulars of which are specified in a certificate issued under the provisions of this section, the person to whom such certificate was issued shall, within fourteen days, notify the Director General in writing accordingly, and the Director General shall issue an amended certificate in lieu of the original certificate.
(5) A copy of the certificate of registration issued by the Director General under this section shall be exhibited in a conspicuous place in the premises specified in the certificate of registration.
(6) Upon ceasing to operate a child care centre, the person to whom the certificate of registration has been issued shall surrender the certificate to the Director General within one month from the date of such cessation.

Perakuan pendaftaran
(1) Jika mana-mana taman asuhan kanak-kanak didaftarkan, Ketua Pengarah hendaklah mengeluarkan selepas suatu fi yang ditetapkan dibayar suatu perakuan pendaftaran dalam borang yang ditetapkan berkenaan mana-mana taman asuhan kanak-kanak itu, dan perakuan it u hendaklah menyat akan alamat t aman asuhan kanak-kanak yang dimaksudkan dengan pendaftaran itu dan juga apa-apa syarat yang dikenakan di bawah peruntukan Akta ini.
(2) Suatu perakuan pendaftaran hendaklah dikeluarkan kepada, dan atas nama orang yang membuat permohonan baginya, dan tidak boleh dipindah milik kepada mana-mana orang lain.
(3) Tiap-tiap perakuan pendaftaran yang dikeluarkan di bawah peruntukan seksyen ini sah selama enam puluh bulan kalendar.
(4) Jika berlaku apa-apa perubahan dalam apa-apa hal keadaan yang butir-butirnya dinyatakan dalam suatu perakuan yang dikeluarkan di bawah peruntukan seksyen ini, orang yang kepadanya perakuan itu telah dikeluarkan hendaklah, dalam tempoh empat belas hari, memberitahu Ketua Pengarah dengan sewajarnya secara bertulis, dan Ketua Pengarah hendaklah mengeluarkan suatu perakuan pindaan sebagai ganti perakuan asal itu.
(5) Suatu salinan perakuan pendaftaran yang dikeluarkan oleh Ketua Pengarah di bawah seksyen ini hendaklah dipamerkan di tempat yang mudah dilihat di dalam premis yang dinyatakan dalam perakuan pendaftaran itu.
(6) Apabila berhenti mengendalikan suatu taman asuhan kanak-kanak, orang yang kepadanya perakuan pendaftaran telah dikeluarkan hendaklah menyerahkan perakuan itu kepada Ketua Pengarah dalam masa satu bulan dari tarikh pemberhentian itu.
