Child Care Centre Act 1984 s 6
s 6 Prohibition of unregistered child care centres
(1) No person shall operate or take part in the management of a child care centre which is not registered under the provisions of this Act.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both and in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.

Larangan ke atas taman asuhan kanak-kanak yang tidak berdaftar
(1) Tiada seorang pun boleh menjalankan atau mengambil bahagian dalam pengurusan suatu taman asuhan kanak-kanak yang tidak didaftarkan di bawah peruntukan Akta ini.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) bersalah melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh dikenakan denda tidak melebihi sepuluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau kedua-duanya dan bagi kesalahan kali kedua atau berikutnya denda tidak melebihi dua puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi lima tahun atau kedua-duanya.
