(1) The Committee shall keep proper accounts and other records in respect of the operations of the Fund, and shall cause to be prepared a statement of accounts in respect of each financial year.
(2) The Committee shall cause its accounts to be audited annually by the Auditor General.
(3) As soon as the accounts of the Committee have been audited, but not later than six months after the end of the financial year, the Committee shall cause a copy of the audited statements of accounts to be transmitted to the State Authority together with a copy of any observations made by the Auditor General on the statement or on the accounts of the Committee.
(4) The Menteri Besar or Chief Minister, as the case may be, shall cause a copy of the statement and observations transmitted to the State Authority under subsection (3) to be laid before the State Legislative Assembly.

Akaun dan audit
(1) Jawatankuasa hendaklah menyenggara akaun dan rekod lain yang sempurna mengenai pengendalian Kumpulan Wang itu, dan hendaklah menyebabkan supaya disediakan suatu penyata akaun bagi setiap tahun kewangan.
(2) Jawatankuasa hendaklah menyebabkan akaunnya diaudit pada tiap-tiap tahun oleh Ketua Audit Negara.
(3) Setelah akaun Jawatankuasa itu diaudit, tetapi tidak lebih lama dari enam bulan selepas akhir tahun kewangan itu, Jawatankuasa hendaklah menyebabkan supaya satu salinan penyata akaun yang diaudit itu diberikan kepada Pihak Berkuasa Negeri bersama-sama dengan satu salinan apa-apa pandangan yang dibuat oleh Ketua Audit Negara mengenai penyata atau mengenai akaun Jawatankuasa itu.
(4) Menteri Besar atau Ketua Menteri, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, hendaklah menyebabkan supaya satu salinan penyata dan pandangan itu diberi kepada Pihak Berkuasa Negeri di bawah subseksyen (3) untuk dibentangkan di hadapan Dewan Undangan Negeri.
