Printing of Qur'Anic Texts Act 1986 s 24
(1) Nothing in this Act shall apply to the printing, publication, sale, distribution or circulation of any Qur’anic text or Qur’anic material by the Federal or any State Government or any statutory body authorized by the Federal or State Government, as the case may be. (2) The Minister may by order published in the Gazette exempt any person or Qur’anic text or Qur’anic material from the application of all or any of the provisions of this Act.
Pengecualian
(1) Tiada apa-apa pun dalam Akta ini terpakai bagi pencetakan, penerbitan, penjualan, pengedaran atau penyebaran sesuatu teks Al-Qur’an atau bahan Al-Qur’an oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan atau mana-mana Kerajaan Negeri atau sesuatu badan berkanun yang diberi kuasa oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan atau Kerajaan Negeri itu, mengikut mana yang berkenaan. (2) Menteri boleh, melalui perintah yang disiarkan dalam Warta, mengecualikan seseorang atau sesuatu teks Al-Qur’an atau bahan Al-Qur’an daripada pemakaian semua atau mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini.
