Notwithstanding its repeal, the Investment Incentives Act 1968 (hereinafter in this Act referred to as the “repealed law”) shall remain in full force and effect and continue to apply to any company for all purposes and in all respects in relation to any certificate issued or approval granted to a company under the repealed law before the commencement of this Act for so long as the same remains valid and in force, and accordingly— (a) the repealed law shall, in relation thereto, apply to the company for any year of assessment whether before or subsequent to the commencement of this Act; and (b) where in order to give effect to any such certificate or approval, it is necessary to make any subsidiary legislation under the repealed law, the authority having the power thereunder to make the same may make the necessary subsidiary legislation.
