Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1949 s 11
s 11 Extension of the Act
Where the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been or will be made by the legislature of any country or territory for the enforcement within that country or territory of maintenance orders made by courts in Malaysia, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, by order, extend this Act to that country or territory and may amend the Schedule in any manner which may be necessary or expedient to give effect to such order and to remove any inconsistency therewith in the Schedule.

Peluasan Akta
Jika Yang di-Pertuan Agong berpuas hati bahawa peruntukan salingan telah atau akan dibuat oleh badan perundangan mana-mana negara atau wilayah bagi menguatkuasakan di negara atau wilayah itu perintah nafkah yang dibuat oleh mahkamah di Malaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong boleh, melalui perintah, memperluas Akta ini ke negara atau wilayah itu dan boleh meminda Jadual mengikut apa-apa cara yang perlu atau suai manfaat untuk memberikan kuat kuasa kepada perintah itu dan untuk menghapuskan apa-apa ketakselarasan dengannya dalam Jadual.
