(1) A reserve police officer shall retain in his possession and maintain in good order such articles of uniform and equipment as may be prescribed; and such articles of uniform and equipment shall not be worn save when the said Reserve is mobilized or on special occasions for which specific permission is granted by the Inspector General. (2) Subsections 17(1) and (2) shall apply to a reserve police officer on his ceasing to be a member of the Reserve.
Pakaian seragam dan peralatan
(1) Seseorang pegawai polis simpanan hendaklah menyimpan dalam miliknya dan menyenggara dalam keadaan baik apa-apa pakaian seragam dan peralatan yang ditetapkan; dan pakaian seragam dan peralatan itu tidak boleh dipakai kecuali semasa Polis Simpanan tersebut dikerah atau pada masa-masa khas yang baginya kebenaran tertentu diberi oleh Ketua Polis Negara. (2) Subseksyen 17 (1) dan (2) hendaklah terpakai bagi seorang pegawai polis simpanan apabila sahaja dia terhenti menjadi anggota Polis Simpanan.
