s 27 Privileged publications
In any civil or criminal proceedings instituted for publishing any extract from or abstract of any such report, paper, minutes, votes, or proceedings, as in the preceding section mentioned, if the court or jury, as the case may be, be satisfied that such extract or abstract was published bona fide and without malice judgment or verdict, as the case may be, shall be entered for the defendant or accused.

Dalam mana-mana prosiding sivil atau jenayah yang dimulakan kerana menyiarkan apa-apa cabutan daripada atau ringkasan bagi apa-apa laporan, kertas, minit, vot, atau prosiding sebagaimana yang tersebut dalam seksyen yang terdahulu, jika mahkamah atau juri, mengikut mana yang berkenaan, berpuas hati bahawa cabutan atau ringkasan itu telah disiarkan secara bona fide dan tanpa niat jahat, maka penghakiman atau keputusan, mengikut mana yang berkenaan, hendaklah dicatatkan untuk defendan atau yang tertuduh.
