s 9 Power of Chief Minister to delegate powers and duties by notification in the Gazette
Where by any written law the Chief Minister of any State is empowered to exercise any powers or perform any duties, he may subject to section 11, with the approval of the Ruler or Yang di- Pertua Negeri of such State by notification in the Gazette, delegate subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed in such notification the exercise of such powers or the performance of such duties to any person described by name or office.

Kuasa Ketua Menteri untuk mewakilkan kuasa dan kewajipan melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta
Jika menurut mana-mana undang-undang bertulis Ketua Menteri bagi mana-mana Negeri diberi kuasa untuk menjalankan apa-apa kuasa atau melaksanakan apa-apa kewajipan, Ketua Menteri boleh tertakluk pada seksyen 11, dengan kelulusan Raja atau Yang di-Pertua Negeri bagi Negeri itu melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta, mewakilkan tertakluk pada apa-apa syarat dan sekatan sebagaimana yang ditetapkan dalam pemberitahuan itu penjalanan kuasa sedemikian atau pelaksanaan kewajipan sedemikian kepada mana-mana orang yang diperihalkan mengikut nama atau jawatan.
