Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971 s 9

s 9 Penalty for consorting with persons carrying arms

Any person who consorts with, or is found in the company of, another person who is in unlawful possession of a firearm in circumstances which raise a reasonable presumption that he knew that such other person was in unlawful possession of the firearm shall, unless he proves that he had reasonable grounds for believing that such other person was not in unlawful possession of the firearm, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to fourteen years and with whipping with not less than six strokes.

Penalti kerana berkawan dengan orang yang membawa senjata api

Seseorang yang berkawan, atau didapati ada bersama dengan seorang lain yang memiliki suatu senjata api dengan menyalahi Senjata Api (Penalti Lebih Berat) undang-undang dalam hal keadaan yang menimbulkan anggapan yang munasabah bahawa dia telah mengetahui bahawa orang lain itu telah memiliki senjata api itu dengan menyalahi undangundang hendaklah dihukum dengan pemenjaraan selama suatu tempoh yang boleh sampai empat belas tahun dan juga disebat tidak kurang daripada enam kali, melainkan jika dia membuktikan bahawa dia ada alasan yang munasabah bagi mempercayai bahawa orang lain itu telah tidak memiliki senjata api itu dengan menyalahi undang-undang.
