When a Ruler who is exercising the sovereign Ilness, etc., functions under this Ordinance cannot owing to illness of Ruler exercising or absence from the Federation for a period not sovereign expected to exceed fifteen days or any other cause functions. exercise such functions the sovereign functions shall fall to be exercised by the Ruler who would under the provisions of section 3 have been entitled to exercise Saving. No. 72 OF 1957 such functions if at the date on which the Ruler first referred to ceased to exercise such functions any of the events described in section 3 had first occurred; and the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply as if referènces therein to the Deputy Supreme Head included references to the Ruler first referred to in this
