Interpretation Acts 1948 and 1967 s 43

s 43 Construction of power to appoint commencement

A power to appoint a date on which a written law shall come into operation does not include power to appoint— (a) a date prior to the date on which the instrument of appointment is published; or (b) different dates for different provisions of that law, unless express provision is made in that behalf.
