s 17 Liability of employer

For the purpose of this Act every person shall be liable for every act and omission of any agent or servant employed by him and acting within the scope of such employment in the same manner and to the same extent as if such act or omission were done or committed by such first mentioned person; but so that nothing in this section shall affect the liability of such agent or servant. *Rules
