Fishermen'S Associations Act 1971 s 1
(1) This Act may be cited as the Fishermen’s Associations Act 1971 and shall, subject to subsection (3), apply throughout Malaysia. (2) This Act shall come into force on such date as the Minister may by notification in the Gazette appoint, such date not being earlier than that on which the notification is published. (3) The Minister may by order suspend the operation of this Act in part or parts of Malaysia.
Tajuk ringkas, pemakaian dan permulaan kuat kuasa
(1) Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Persatuan Nelayan 1971 dan tertakluk kepada subseksyen (3) hendaklah terpakai di seluruh Malaysia. (2) Akta ini hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta, dan tarikh itu tidak lebih awal daripada tarikh pemberitahuan itu disiarkan. (3) Menteri boleh dengan perintah menggantung kuat kuasa Akta ini di suatu atau beberapa bahagian dalam Malaysia.
