s 16 Registration of State Fishermen’s Association
If any application under section 15 has been made in respect of each Area Fishermen’s Association and the Registrar is satisfied—
(a) that the special resolution in favour of the proposed confederation has been duly passed by each Area Fishermen’s Association corresponding in all material particulars with the resolution or resolutions passed by the other Area Fishermen’s Associations;
(b) that the scheme of confederation contained in the resolution aforesaid in the case of each Area Fishermen’s Association corresponds in all material particulars to the resolution or resolutions of the other Area Fishermen’s Associations; and
(c) that the provisions of the constitution or rules of the proposed State Fishermen’s Association are not contrary to this Act or rules made thereunder,
he shall register or cause to be registered the State Fishermen’s Association according to the rules made under this Act.

Pendaftaran Persatuan Nelayan Negeri
Jika sesuatu permohonan di bawah seksyen 15 telah dibuat berkenaan dengan setiap Persatuan Nelayan Kawasan dan Pendaftar berpuas hati—
(a) bahawa ketetapan khas yang menyokong pergabungan yang dicadangkan itu telah diluluskan dengan sempurnanya oleh setiap Persatuan Nelayan Kawasan bersamaan dalam segala butir material dengan ketetapan atau ketetapan-ketetapan yang diluluskan oleh Persatuan-Persatuan Nelayan Kawasan yang lain;
(b) bahawa rancangan pergabungan yang terkandung dalam ketetapan yang tersebut di atas bagi setiap Persatuan Nelayan Kawasan adalah bersamaan dalam segala butir material dengan ketetapan atau ketetapanketetapan Persatuan Nelayan Kawasan yang lain; dan
(c) bahawa peruntukan perlembagaan atau kaedah-kaedah bagi Persatuan Nelayan Negeri yang dicadangkan itu tidak berlawanan dengan Akta ini atau dengan kaedahkaedah yang dibuat di bawahnya,
Pendaftar hendaklah mendaftarkan atau menyebabkan didaftarkan Persatuan Nelayan Negeri mengikut kaedah-kaedah yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini.
