s 59 Incorrect declaration, failure to furnish return, etc.

Any person who— (a) makes, orally or in writing, or signs any declaration, return, certificate or other document required by this Act or any regulations or rules thereunder which is untrue or incorrect in any particular; or (b) fails or refuses to furnish or produce any declaration, return, certificate or other document required by this Act or any regulations or rules thereunder to be furnished or produced, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to both.
