Girl Guides Act 1953 s 2
In this Act— “Association” means the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia incorporated under the Royal Charter granted on 14 December 1922; “Guide” includes a Brownie, Guide, Ranger, Cadet or Lay Member of the Girl Guides Association, recognized as such by the Rules of the Girl Guides Association as amended for use by the Malaysia Branch of the said Association.

Dalam Akta ini— “Persatuan” ertinya Persatuan Pandu Puteri Malaysia yang diperbadankan di bawah Piagam Diraja yang diberikan pada 14 Disember 1922; “Pandu” termasuklah seorang Tunas Puteri, Pandu, Renjer, Kadet atau Ahli Biasa Persatuan Pandu Puteri, yang diiktiraf sedemikian oleh Kaedah-Kaedah Persatuan Pandu Puteri sebagaimana yang dipinda bagi kegunaan oleh Cawangan Malaysia Persatuan tersebut.
