s 51 Penalty for failure to comply with section 45
(1) Any railway company which fails to give notice of an accident as is required by section 45 shall pay to the Government a sum of one hundred ringgit for every day during which the default continues.
(2) Any railway official in charge of a station who omits to give such notice of an accident as is required by section 45 shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both.

Penalti kerana kegagalan mematuhi seksyen 45
(1) Mana-mana syarikat keretapi yang gagal memberi notis mengenai kemalangan sebagaimana yang dikehendaki oleh seksyen 45 hendaklah membayar kepada Kerajaan suatu jumlah wang sebanyak satu ratus ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari selama keingkaran itu berterusan.
(2) Mana-mana pegawai keretapi yang menjaga stesen yang tidak memberi notis mengenai kemalangan sebagaimana yang dikehendaki oleh seksyen 45 melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ratus ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu bulan atau keduaduanya.
