Foreign warrants and depositions or statements on oath and copies thereof, and foreign certificates of or judicial documents stating the fact of a conviction, shall be deemed duly authenticated for the purposes of this Act if authenticated in the manner provided for the time being by law or authenticated as follows:
(a) if the warrant purports to be signed by a Judge, Magistrate or officer of the country where the same was issued;
(b) if the depositions or statements or the copies thereof purport to be certified under the hand of a Judge, Magistrate or officer of the country where the same were taken to be the original depositions or statements, or to be true copies thereof, as the case may require; or
(c) if the certificate of or judicial document stating the fact of conviction purports to be certified by a Judge, Magistrate or officer of the country where the conviction took place;
and if in every case the warrant, depositions, statement, copies, certificates and judicial documents (as the case may be) are authenticated by the oath of some witness or being sealed with the
official seal of the Minister of Justice or some other Minister of State; and all courts in Malaysia shall take judicial notice of such official seal and shall admit the documents so authenticated by it to be received in evidence without further proof.

Pengesahan dokumen asing
Waran dan deposisi atau pernyataan bersumpah asing dan salinannya, dan perakuan asing tentang atau dokumen kehakiman asing yang menyatakan hakikat sesuatu sabitan, hendaklah disifatkan telah disahkan dengan sewajarnya bagi maksud Akta ini jika disahkan menurut cara yang diperuntukkan sekarang ini melalui undangundang atau disahkan sebagaimana yang berikut:
(a) jika waran itu berupa sebagai ditandatangani oleh seorang Hakim, Majistret atau pegawai negara tempat waran itu telah dikeluarkan;
(b) jika deposisi atau pernyataan itu atau salinannya berupa sebagai telah diperakui di bawah tandatangan seorang Hakim, Majistret atau pegawai negara tempat deposisi atau pernyataan atau salinan itu dikira sebagai deposisi atau pernyataan asal, atau sebagai salinan sah deposisi atau pernyataan itu, mengikut kehendak hal itu;
(c) jika perakuan tentang atau dokumen kehakiman yang menyatakan hakikat sabitan itu berupa sebagai telah
diperakui oleh seorang Hakim, Majistret atau pegawai negara tempat sabitan itu telah berlaku;
dan jika dalam tiap-tiap hal waran, deposisi, pernyataan, salinan, perakuan dan dokumen kehakiman itu (mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan) disahkan melalui sumpah saksi atau dimeterai dengan meterai rasmi Menteri Kehakiman atau seorang Menteri Negara yang lain; dan semua mahkamah di Malaysia hendaklah memberikan pengiktirafan kehakiman kepada meterai rasmi itu dan hendaklah membenarkan dokumen yang disahkan olehnya diterima sebagai keterangan tanpa bukti yang lebih lanjut lagi.
