Extradition Act 1992 s 39
Every fugitive criminal shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, be liable to be arrested and returned, whether the offence in respect of which the return is sought was committed before or after the commencement of this Act, and whether or not a Court in Malaysia has jurisdiction to try that offence.
Liabiliti penjenayah buruan untuk ditangkap dan dipulangkan
Setiap penjenayah buruan hendaklah, tertakluk kepada peruntukan Akta ini, boleh ditangkap dan dipulangkan, sama ada kesalahan yang berkenaan dengannya pemulangan itu cuba didapatkan dilakukan sebelum atau selepas mula berkuatkuasanya Akta ini, dan sama ada atau tidak Mahkamah di Malaysia mempunyai bidang kuasa untuk membicarakan kesalahan itu.
