s 35 Obligation of secrecy

(1) Except for the purposes of this Act, no person who has access to any record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material whatsoever obtained pursuant to the provisions of this Act shall disclose such record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material to any other person. (2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

Obligasi Kerahsiaan

(1) Kecuali bagi maksud Akta ini, tiada seorang pun yang mempunyai akses kepada apa-apa rekod, buku, daftar, surat, maklumat, dokumen atau apa-apa pun bahan lain yang didapatkan menurut peruntukan Akta ini boleh menzahirkan rekod, buku, daftar, surat, maklumat, dokumen atau bahan lain itu kepada mana-mana orang lain. (2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi sepuluh ribu ringgit atau pemenjaraan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau kedua-duanya.
