In addition to the duties imposed upon the Majlis by this Act, the Majlis may undertake such other functions and administer and expend such other moneys for such purposes as the Government of Malaysia or of any State may assign to it and in so doing the Majlis shall be deemed to be fulfilling the purposes of this Act and this Act shall apply to the Majlis in respect of such functions and the administration and expending of such moneys:
Provided always that the accounts of such moneys shall be kept separate and apart from those of the Fund and of every corporation.

Fungsi tambahan Majlis
Sebagai tambahan kepada kewajipan yang dikenakan ke atas Majlis oleh Akta ini, Majlis boleh menjalankan apa-apa fungsi lain dan mentadbirkan dan membelanjakan apa-apa wang lain bagi apa-apa maksud sebagaimana yang diberikan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia atau Kerajaan mana-mana Negeri kepada Majlis dan dalam berbuat
demikian Majlis hendaklah disifatkan sebagai memenuhi maksud Akta ini dan Akta ini hendaklah terpakai bagi Majlis berkenaan dengan fungsi itu dan pentadbiran dan pembelanjaan wang itu:
Dengan syarat bahawa akaun wang itu hendaklah disimpan berasingan dan berlainan daripada akaun Kumpulan Wang dan akaun tiap-tiap perbadanan.
