s 38 Repeal of the Rural and Industrial Development Authority Ordinance 1953
On the appointed day—
(i) the Rural and Industrial Development Authority Ordinance 1953 [Ord. No. 48 of 1953] (in this Act referred to as “the Ordinance”) shall cease to have effect and such cesser
shall be deemed to be a repeal of that Ordinance for the purpose of the Interpretation Acts 1948 and 1967 [Act 388];
(ii) the Rural and Industrial Development Authority (in this Act referred to as “the Authority”) being a body corporate established under that Ordinance shall likewise cease to exist.

Pemansuhan Ordinan Lembaga Kemajuan Kampung dan Perusahaan 1953
(1) Pada hari yang ditetapkan—
(a) O r d i n a n L e m b a g a K e m a j u a n K a m p u n g d a n Perusahaan 1953 [Ord. 48 tahun 1953] (dalam Akta ini disebut “Ordinan itu”) hendaklah terhenti berkuat kuasa dan keberhentian itu hendaklah disifatkan sebagai pemansuhan Ordinan itu bagi maksud Akta Tafsiran 1948 dan 1967 [Akta 388];
(b) Lembaga Kemajuan Kampung dan Perusahaan (dalam Akta ini disebut “Lembaga”) yang merupakan suatu pertubuhan perbadanan yang ditubuhkan di bawah Ordinan itu hendaklah juga tidak lagi wujud.
