Direct Sales and Anti-Pyramid Scheme Act 1993 s 37

s 37 Certain contractual terms prohibited

(1) A contract to which this Act applies shall not contain— (a) any provision purporting to exclude, restrict, or modify any right conferred on a purchaser by this Act; or (b) any provision of a kind prohibited by the regulations. (2) Where a contract to which this Act applies contains a provision contrary to subsection (1), the provision is void and the vendor and any person authorized by him to enter into such a contract are each guilty of an offence.

Terma kontrak tertentu dilarang

(1) Sesuatu kontrak yang baginya Akta ini terpakai tidak boleh mengandungi— (a) apa-apa peruntukan yang berupa sebagai menyingkirkan, mengehadkan, atau mengubahsuaikan apa-apa hak yang diberikan kepada seseorang pembeli melalui Akta ini; atau (b) apa-apa peruntukan daripada jenis yang dilarang oleh peraturan-peraturan. (2) Jika sesuatu kontrak yang baginya Akta ini terpakai mengandungi suatu peruntukan yang berlawanan dengan subseksyen (1), peruntukan itu adalah batal dan penjual dan manamana orang yang diberi kuasa olehnya untuk membuat kontrak itu, setiap satunya, melakukan suatu kesalahan.
