(1) Upon receipt of an application together with the documents and information required under section 5, the Controller may grant the licence, with or without conditions, or he may refuse to grant the licence without assigning any reason for such refusal.
(2) The Controller may, in granting a licence under subsection (1), require the applicant to pay such amount of fees as may be prescribed.
(3) For the purpose of subsection (2), different fees may be prescribed in respect of different classes, categories or descriptions of applicants.
(4) Any licensee who fails to comply with any conditions of the licence imposed by the Controller under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.

Pemberian atau keengganan memberikan lesen
(1) Apabila sesuatu permohonan berserta dengan dokumen dan maklumat yang dikehendaki di bawah seksyen 5 diterima, Pengawal boleh memberikan lesen, dengan atau tanpa syarat, atau dia boleh enggan memberikan lesen tanpa memberi apa-apa sebab bagi keengganan itu.
(2) Pengawal boleh, pada memberikan lesen di bawah subseksyen
(1), menghendaki pemohon membayar apa-apa amaun fi yang ditetapkan.
(3) Bagi maksud subseksyen (2), fi yang berlainan boleh ditetapkan berkenaan dengan golongan, kategori atau perihal pemohon yang berlainan.
(4) Mana-mana pemegang lesen yang tidak mematuhi mana-mana syarat lesen yang dikenakan oleh Pengawal di bawah subseksyen
(1) melakukan suatu kesalahan.
