s 8 Revocation of licence
(1) The Controller may revoke a licence granted under section 6 if he is satisfied that—
(a) the licensee has failed to comply with any obligation imposed upon it by or under this Act or the regulations;
(b) the licensee has contravened any of the conditions imposed under the licence, or any other provision of the licence, or any provision of this Act or the regulations, regardless that there has been no prosecution for an offence in respect of such contravention;
(c) the licensee or any person who is or is to be a director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the licensee has, either in connection with the application for the licence, or at any time after the grant of the licence, provided false, misleading or inaccurate information to the Controller;
(d) the interests of persons dealing with the licensee or the interests of its purchasers are in any way threatened, whether by the manner in which the licensee is conducting or proposes to conduct its business or for any other reason;
(e) the licensee has ceased to carry on any one or more of the fields of business for which it is licensed;
(f) a compromise or arrangement with creditors has been made in respect of the licensee;
(g) a receiver or manager of the licensee’s business has been appointed; or
(h) possession has been taken, by or on behalf of the holders of any debenture secured by a charge, of any property of the licensee comprised in or subject to the charge.
(2) The Controller shall revoke a licence granted to a licensee under section 6 if he is satisfied that—
(a) a winding up order has been made against it; or
(b) a resolution for its voluntary winding up has been passed.

Pembatalan lesen
(1) Pengawal boleh membatalkan sesuatu lesen yang diberikan di bawah seksyen 6 jika dia berpuas hati bahawa—
(a) pemegang lesen itu telah gagal mematuhi apa-apa obligasi yang dikenakan ke atasnya oleh atau di bawah Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan;
(b) pemegang lesen itu telah melanggar apa-apa syarat yang dikenakan di bawah lesen itu, atau apa-apa peruntukan lain lesen itu, atau apa-apa peruntukan Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan, tanpa mengira bahawa tidak ada pendakwaan bagi kesalahan berkenaan dengan pelanggaran itu;
(c) pemegang lesen atau mana-mana orang yang menjadi atau akan menjadi pengarah, pengurus, setiausaha atau pegawai serupa itu yang lain dalam pemegang lesen itu telah, sama ada berkaitan dengan permohonan bagi mendapatkan lesen, atau pada bila-bila masa selepas pemberian lesen itu, memberikan maklumat yang palsu,mengelirukan atau tidak tepat kepada Pengawal;
(d) kepentingan orang yang berurusan dengan pemegang lesen atau kepentingan pembelinya terancam dengan apa-apa cara, sama ada dengan cara pemegang lesen itu menjalankan atau bercadang hendak menjalankan perniagaannya atau kerana apa-apa sebab lain;
(e) pemegang lesen telah berhenti menjalankan mana-mana satu atau lebih bidang perniagaan yang baginya ia dilesenkan;
(f) suatu kompromi atau perkiraan dengan pemiutang telah dibuat berkenaan dengan pemegang lesen itu;
(g) seorang penerima atau pengurus perniagaan pemegang lesen itu telah dilantik; atau
(h) milikan telah diambil, oleh atau bagi pihak pemegang mana-mana debentur yang bercagarkan gadaian, akan mana-mana harta pemegang lesen itu yang terkandung dalam atau tertakluk kepada gadaian itu.
(2) Pengawal hendaklah membatalkan sesuatu lesen yang diberikan kepada pemegang lesen di bawah seksyen 6 jika dia berpuas hati bahawa—
(a) suatu perintah penggulungan telah dibuat terhadap pemegang lesen itu; atau
(b) suatu resolusi bagi penggulungan sukarela pemegang lesen itu telah diluluskan.
