s 19 Charge for supply of gas to be ascertained by appropriate meter
(1) Where a consumer is to be charged for his supply of gas whether wholly or partly by reference to the quantity of gas supplied, the supply shall be given through, and the quantity of gas shall be ascertained by, an appropriate meter.
(2) The meter, to be provided by the licensee, whether by way of sale, hire or loan, shall be of the type approved by the Commission or by any other relevant government body appointed by the Commission for that purpose.
(3) The meter shall be installed on the consumer’s premises in a position to be determined by the licensee, unless in certain circumstances it is more reasonable to place it outside the premises or in some other position.
(4) If the consumer refuses or fails to have his supply of gas through the appropriate meter provided and installed in accordance with subsections (2) and (3) the licensee may refuse to give or may discontinue the supply.

Caj bagi bekalan gas hendaklah ditentukan melalui meter yang sesuai
(1) Jika seseorang pengguna akan dikenakan caj bagi bekalan gasnya sama ada keseluruhannya atau sebahagiannya dengan merujuk kepada kuantiti gas yang dibekalkan, bekalan itu hendaklah diberikan menerusi, dan kuantiti gas hendaklah ditentukan melalui, meter yang sesuai.
(2) Meter, yang hendaklah diadakan oleh pemegang lesen, sama ada dengan cara jualan, sewaan atau pinjaman, hendaklah daripada jenis yang diluluskan oleh Suruhanjaya atau mana-mana badan Kerajaan yang lain yang relevan yang dilantik oleh Suruhanjaya bagi maksud itu.
(3) Meter hendaklah dipasang pada premis pengguna di suatu kedudukan yang hendaklah ditentukan oleh pemegang lesen, melainkan jika dalam hal keadaan tertentu adalah lebih munasabah meter itu ditempatkan di luar premis itu atau di suatu kedudukan lain.
(4) Jika pengguna enggan atau tidak mendapatkan bekalan gasnya menerusi meter yang sesuai yang diadakan dan dipasang mengikut subseksyen (2) dan (3), pemegang lesen boleh enggan memberikan atau boleh memberhentikan bekalan.
