Academy of Sciences Malaysia Act 1994 s 4
The object of the Academy is the pursuit, encouragement and maintenance of excellence in the fields of science, engineering and technology in order to promote the advancement of the art and practice of science, engineering and technology for the development of the nation and the benefit of mankind.
Matlamat Akademi
Matlamat Akademi ialah pengusahaan, penggalakan dan pengekalan kecemerlangan dalam bidang sains, kejuruteraan dan teknologi untuk menggalakkan pemajuan seni dan amalan sains, kejuruteraan dan teknologi bagi pembangunan negara dan faedah manusia.
