s 8 Appointment of committees
(1) The Council may appoint one or more committees as it considers necessary or expedient to assist it in the performance of its functions under this Act.
(2) The number and term of office of the members of a committee appointed under this section, and the number of the members necessary to form a quorum, shall be decided by the Council.
(3) A committee appointed under this section may include persons who are not members of the Council but who shall be members of the Academy.

Pelantikan jawatankuasa
(1) Majlis boleh melantik satu jawatankuasa atau lebih sebagaimana yang difikirkannya perlu atau suai manfaat untuk membantunya melaksanakan fungsinya di bawah Akta ini.
(2) Bilangan dan tempoh jawatan anggota sesuatu jawatankuasa yang dilantik di bawah seksyen ini, dan bilangan anggota yang perlu untuk membentuk suatu kuorum, hendaklah diputuskan oleh Majlis.
(3) Suatu jawatankuasa yang dilantik di bawah seksyen ini boleh termasuk orang yang bukan anggota Majlis tetapi hendaklah anggota Akademi.
