s 5 Modification of Article VI of Rules in relation to local trade
Article VI of the Rules shall, in relation to—
(a) the carriage of goods by sea in sailing ships carrying goods from any port in Malaysia to any other port whether in or outside Malaysia; and
(b) the carriage of goods by sea in ships carrying goods from any port in Malaysia to any other port in Malaysia,
have effect as though the said Article referred to goods of any class instead of to particular goods and as though the proviso to the second paragraph of the said Article were omitted.

Ubah Suaian Artikel VI Kaedah-Kaedah berhubung dengan perdagangan tempatan
Artikel VI Kaedah-Kaedah hendaklah, berhubung dengan—
(a) pengangkutan barang melalui laut di dalam kapal layar yang mengangkut barang dari mana-mana pelabuhan di Malaysia ke mana-mana pelabuhan lain sama ada di dalam atau di luar Malaysia; dan
(b) pengangkutan barang melalui laut di dalam kapal yang mengangkut barang dari mana-mana pelabuhan di Malaysia ke mana-mana pelabuhan lain di Malaysia,
mempunyai kuat kuasa seolah-olah Artikel tersebut merujuk kepada barang daripada mana-mana kelas dan bukannya kepada barang tertentu dan seolah-olah proviso kepada perenggan kedua Artikel tersebut telah ditinggalkan.
